In the Art Contest there will be awards in each category.
1st, 2nd and 3rd award in each category.

The purpose of the contest is to provide an introduction to active artists, create interaction between artists worldwide, and offer a window to what is going on in the world of popular and contemporary art.

By joining the Art Contest you also support yourself and Avisen-avk, since we can make more out of the site and in the end that will benefit us all.

Application fee

An application fee of €10 + € 2 bankfee is to be paid after submitting your application form.
The application fee is not refundable.

Contest Prizes

There are no cash prizes for this event yet. All artists that participate will have the honor
of being exposed on the international Avisen-avk site which has hosted this world wide Art Contest.
Selection of the winners is by the vote from all our visitors world wide (not a biased jury).
Awards are offered to the winners, with their entries featured on Avisen-avk's home page.

The Contest is open to all active artists in all media.

All artists who send an application form and payment will be accepted and published.
Avisen-avk reserves the final decision.

Each application is to include a photograph file for web presentation which is to be uploaded
to our server (or sent by email). The image file shall be .jpg or .gif - approximately 550 x 400 pixel @ 72 dpi (minimum). Smaller images are not suitable.

Copyright of entered artworks remains with the artist who agrees to grant permission to Avisen-avk to use the submitted material in exhibits on the Avisen-avk web site, other media for marketing and printing for offline marketing. You must accept that all entries are permanently archived and displayed online. Your permission to display the entry for the contest and later in the archives cannot be reversed and its use or removal is entirely at the discretion of Avisen-avk.

We reserve the right to update or amend these rules at any time. It is therefore your responsibility to check the rules regularly for any changes.

How to submit

No applications can be submitted unless the artist/authorized agent is in full agreement with the terms and conditions of the contest and have the copyright of the entered artwork.
